Women's Night Out - Challa

Have you ever experienced baking your very own challah?

Challah is one of the three special mitzvos connected especially to women. Young Russian – American Jewish women join Shula throughout the year for a Women’s Night Out. Many topics are learned and discussed - this one is on making Challah.

“It was such a great experience for me to learn what my grandmother used to make in the FSU. We were never taught how its done and what the significance this has”, said Stella.

“It was just so inspirational”, said Vicky.

“We want to create an environment where women make friends, see others from the same background as themselves, learn and get inspired of our amazing heritage, said Shula Winner co-director of Neshama - Chabad Lubavitch of Manhattan Beach.
