To start off our Pre-Chanukah events we had a mini chefs class during Hebrew School where the children got to make the batter for, bake and decorate their very own donuts!

To continue with the Chanukah fun, this past week in Hebrew School we had a Chanukah fun zone! There were booths with fun and educational things to do/eat/make to take home!

BMC Meeting #2!

Our second meeting was a smash success! 

We learned to stand up for what we believe in even though it may be hard. 

Yehudis , a Jewish heroine, taught us how. 

The story of Yehudis came to life as we acted out how she, against everyone else's warning, went to the Greek general and in an act of bravery killed him, saving the whole Jerusalem from hunger!  How did she do it? By getting the general so full and sleepy on cheese and wine! 

                                                             Cheese themed food! 

                                           

                                               To end off the meeting we had the hands 

                                            on experience of making our own grape juice!
