Menorah Lighting at Holocaust Park - Manhattan Beach

(Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn, NY) Neshama - Chabad Lubavitch of Manhattan Beach hosted its annual Outdoor Menorah Lighting where many of the Manhattan Beach and Brighton Beach Russian American community members came out to join for this special occasion.

"...One must listen to the Chanukah Candles for they tell a story of Jewish pride, Jewish victory, the triumph of good over evil", said Rabbi Avrohom Winner. His wife Shula helped the distribution of the traditional Chanukah doughnuts. The enthusiastic participants broke out in a danced celebrating the holiday. "Chanukah is not complete for the Children without the chanukah gelt", said Winner who gave each child a crisp dollar.
