Rosh Hashana and Tashlich @ Chabad Neshama 2010

There is so much to say of all the action for the two days of Rosh Hashana 2010 at Chabad Lubavitch of Manhattan Beach. Beginning with the Rosh Hashana Prayer services and Shofar sounding at the PS 225 auditorium. Followed by our annual Tashlich Prayer Service at the Sheepshead Bay. Completed with a Rosh Hashana community dinner at the Rabbi’s house.

The Rosh Hashana prayer services at the auditorium were very inspiring. Hundreds of adults participated in the service while the children were being entertained with a children’s program catered for their age.

Our annual Tashlich prayer service at the Holocaust Park facing the Sheepshead Bay has become a community tradition. Hundreds of families join for this special prayer, introspection and a moment of connection to G-d in a setting close to nature – right by the water.

Following the prayer at the Bay many joined Rabbi and Shula Winner for a holiday dinner. The customary blessings and foods, the company and friendship was very enjoyable, there were many toasts and best wishes shared.
