Hundreds of Russian-American Jews from the Manhattan Beach and Brighton Beach communities joined Project Neshama – Chabad Lubavitch of Manhattan Beach for a moment of prayer and inspiration at the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Grave in honor of the New Year.
Before special occasion or personal celebration Chassidim have a custom to visit the Rebbe for his blessing. Before the New Year is a most opportune time to pray at the Rebbe’s grave for his blessing for a happy and healthy New Year.
